Mission Society Board Meeting in Albuquerque
The Mission Society Board will meet in Albuquerque on October 31, 2009, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Byzantine Catholic Church. The main agenda item will be a pilgrimage to Central Europe in 2010. We hope to organizer a pilgrimage that will take people to the Weeping Mother of God in Mariapocs (Hungary), the shrines of our martyr bishops Gojdic and Hopko in Presov and Father Trcka in Medzilaborce (Slovakia), and the shrine of our martyr bishop Romzha in Uzhgorod (Ukraine). Included will be visits to the Shrine of Our Lady at Boronyavo, projects such as orphanages and monasteries that we have supported, and the seminaries in Uzhgorod and Presov.
